Soft Launch for Mansa East Africa

Onshore LPG facility

April 2019.

The Comarco Base, Mombasa, was the venue for the soft launch of the proposed onshore LPG facility to be constructed and operated by Mansa East Africa.

The occasion was attended by high level dignitaries from both regional and central government, as well representatives from British High Commission.

Mansa East Africa comprising UK LPG specialist firm, Petredec, and its local partner, Rift Gas, has been given approval to construct a facility in Mombasa valued at Shs.7.5 billion, a storage plant for 1,000 tonnes with additional floating storage for 10,000 tonnes.

It is expected to handle up to 12,500 tonnes of LPG every month for distribution into the local market.
